The wildfire near Canadian River, Texas is now 95 percent contained. It has already burned 1,750 acres.
"The wildfire is expected to contain 100 percent sometime Monday," News Channel 10 reported quoting the Texas A&M Forest Service.
The authorities closed down the section of U.S. 287 between Dumas and Amarillo as they work to contain the flames.
