Two fresh earthquakes hit Bajura and Baglung, Nepal

According to Nepal Seismological Center, another fresh earthquake of magnitude 4.2 has been recorded in Baglung at 09:06 pm. The epicenter was located near Dhorpatan Hunting Reserve.

No immediate damage or injuries have been reported.

Magnitude 4.6 moderate earthquake has been recorded in Bajura at 03:11 pm Tuesday afternoon. The epicenter was located near Madana, northwest of Rara Lake.

Several moderate earthquakes have been recorded in mid western region in last two months. Three weeks earlier, magnitude 5.4 earthquake hit Rukum district of Mid Western Development Region

Yesterday, Nepal Seismological Center had recorded magnitude 4.4 aftershock in Sindhupalchowk at 09:14 pm. The tremor was even felt in Kathmandu valley.

The death toll from April 25 mega earthquake has reached 8,895, Nepal Disaster Risk Reduction Portal  mentioned. The highest number of deaths have been reported from Sindhupalchowk district (3,532) followed by Kathmandu (1,226).
