Hpakant jade mine landslide in Myanmar kills 6

Atleast six people are confirmed dead in the landslide.

Atleast a dozen people have been missing in Kachin State’s Hpakant jade mining region of Myanmar on Monday.

"Two piles of mining waste located between Suttaung and Shansu villages collapsed on Monday afternoon," The Irrawaddy reported.

Last year, more than a hundred people died in jade mine landslide in northern Kachin State of Myanmar.
