Cotopaxi volcano in Ecuador emitted gas and vapour upto the height of 200 meters in west direction Tuesday morning.
Cotopaxi volcano has shown a moderate internal activity following Yellow alert status.
Local airports, roads and railways are open and operating normally.
The Ministry of Tourism visited affected areas with the Secretary of Risk Management, Geophysical Institute and Municipality of Mejia, Ministerio de Turismo mentioned.
