A tornado touched down in the Southern California desert sometime between 3:45 and 4 p.m. on Tuesday.
Tornado was spotted in rural Riverside County, about 15 miles east-northeast of Eagle Mountain, NBC Southern California reported quoting the National Weather Service in Phoenix.
No tornado damage or injuries have been reported.
According to KCRA, the state of California experiences about nine to 10 tornadoes a year.
