Moderate earthquake rattles Bharatpur, Nepal

Magnitude 5.2 moderate earthquake hit Bharatpur today, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake's epicenter was located 18 km NE of Bharatpur. It was 6.2 miles deep.

However, Nepal Seismological Center has placed magnitude of 5.9 with epicenter in Dhading.

Magnitude 4.2 earthquake also hit Kathmandu Wednesday morning. Magnitude 6.8 major aftershock rattled Nepal Tuesday afternoon. At least 56 people have died in different parts of Nepal on Tuesday alone. In total, April 25 earthquake has killed more than 8,000 people in different parts of Nepal.
