Flash flood in Tamilnadu, India has claimed lives of at least two people.
A temporary bridge across the Amaravathy river has also been washed away in the incident, Bharat Channel reported.
Heavy rains in Sathyamangalam forest caused the river flooding at the Erode district of Tamilnadu.
About 20 acres of paddy fields in Emappur village in Thiruvennainallur have been flooded, while 10 acres of paddy and vegetables have been destroyed in Kalliyankuppam, Seyyankuppam, Koonimedu and Keezhputhupattu, Indian Express has mentioned quoting the Disaster Management and Mitigation Department.
