Karymsky volcano spews ash, local emergencies services says

Karymsky volcano in Russia has spewed ash to a height of 4 miles into the sky early Tuesday, local emergencies services said.

The current Karymsky eruption poses no immediate threat to nearby settlements.

However the clouds of volcanic ash could pose threat to air traffic, emergency service said.

Karymsky is the most active volcano of Kamchatka’s eastern volcanic zone.

Shiveluch volcano in Russia had also spewed ash up to 5 km two days ago.
