Six helicopters and fireman now fighting forest fire in Wairarapa area.
Firefighters with the help of five helicopters are fighting a forest fire east of Martinborough, New Zealand.
Five helicopters and seven crews from Martinborough, Featherston, Upper Hutt, Wellington and rural fire parties are working to extinguish the forest fire.
Fire was first reported at 5:50 am near Hinakura, between Martinborough and the coast. Fire has burned 30-hectare pine forest east of Martinborough, New Zealand.
No injuries or property damage have been reported.
