• Heavy flooding In Namacurra in Zambezia Province, Mozambique
  More than 13,000 families, or approximately 65,000 people, severely affected in Namacurra, South African Flood

January 2012

• January 25: Severe Storms And Flooding in Mozambique (Cyclone Funso)
  22 people killed with more than 50,000 evacuated. Fatalities reported in central province of Zambezia after Cyclone Funso hit the area. 
• January 20: Heavy Flooding In Mozambique Following Tropical Storm Dando
  It is the first tropical storm to hit Mozambique's south since 1984. 5 people died with more than 1500 evacuated.
• January 19: Heavy flooding in Kruger National Park South Africa
  Tropical storm Dando hit southern Mozambique since the beginning of the week which caused heavy flooding in Eastern parts of South Africa.
