- August 21: Poas volcano eruption 2013
At least two phreatic eruptions have been recorded at the Poas volcano, the Volcanological and Seismological Observatory of Costa Rica (OVSICORI) said.
- May 21: Costa Rica/Turrialba recent volcanic activity
Following Volcanological and Seismological Observatory of Costa Rica (Ovsicori), Turrialba Volcano spewed gas and ash from two crater openings at 5:00 a.m Tuesday morning.
