Think about the Long Term

Successful people are those who are willing to delay gratification and
make sacrifices in the short term so that they can enjoy far greater
rewards in the long term. Unsuccessful people, on the other hand,
think more about short-term pleasure and immediate gratification
while giving little thought to the long-term future.

End Times Prophecies YouTube
People often search, "When is the world going to end?" And every time a new doomsday prophecy claims certain date. An updated "End Times Prophecies" YouTube channel claims the world will surely end on 31 October 2016.

Earlier, the same YouTube channel marked July 29, 2016 as the end of the world. Now, the same video has been updated with a new title claiming the end of the world to occur on October 31, 2016.

It claims that the second coming of Jesus Christ will occur at the same time as the magnetic polar flip in a matter of minutes, which will cause a catastrophic global earthquake. This YouTube video has now attracted more than 6.8 million views as of September 17, 2016.

The YouTube video argues, "the recorded prophecies tell the history of mankind from the days of the great Babylonian Empire. All the evidence tells us that the end of the world ,end of days and the end of time on 31 October 2016."

It added that the Earth will stagger like a drunk and will sway like a hut in a storm. This will happen because the planet is already weighed down by its sins, and it will collapse and never rise again.

"End Times Prophecies" has posted several false doomsday prediction for this year including that an asteroid would hit Earth on May 6, then July 29. It didn't happen.

This year Pastor Ricardo Salazar, from the Global Church of the King of Israel, in Tokyo, Japan, had also predicted a major disaster on May 16, 2016. But it never happened.

newzealand_earthquake_map
Magnitude 7.1 severe earthquake rattled New Zealand with epicenter located 167km NNE of Gisborne and 257km E of Tauranga.

According to a spokeswoman for Insurance Council New Zealand, no significant damage had been reported to the authority this morning.

The quake also cut power to about 1000 homes in Eastern Bay of Plenty, NZHerald reported.

Biggest earthquake in 201 years

The September 1, 2016 M 7.1 earthquake northeast of Gisborne, New Zealand is the biggest quake to hit top of the North Island in 20 years.

The largest was a M 7.1 event in February 1995, about 45 km to the southwest of the September 1, 2016 earthquake. The 1995 event also occurred as a result of shallow oblique-normal faulting, and is not known to have caused any fatalities or damage. The 1995 M 7.1 earthquake was followed by a M 6.5 aftershock five days later.

Tectonic Summary

The earthquake occurred as the result of shallow oblique-normal faulting near the plate boundary between the Pacific and Australia plates.

The current event was preceded by a M 5.8 foreshock, approximately 18 hours earlier and 30 km to the north, at a similar depth and with the same faulting mechanism as the subsequent M 7.1 earthquake.
