Heavy rainfall and storm caused widespread damage in Yavatmal, Nashik and Dhule districts in Maharashtra state of India claiming lives of two people.
A woman died in Yavatmal district after her house collapsed following heavy rains. Lightning strike killed another women in Dhule district of Maharashtra.
Rainstorm damaged eight houses in Pimpalshenda and Dhoki villages. Similarly four houses partially damaged in Akola Bazar village in Yavatmal tehsil, Mid-Day reported.
