Lightning strikes during thunderstorms have claimed lives of at least 33 people in 12 districts of Bangladesh.
Five people died in Sirajganj and Rajshahi each, and four in Pabna, Kishoreganj and Brahmanbarhia, Bangladesh's first internet newspaper bdnews24.com reported.
Two people died in Dhaka, Gazipur, Bogra and Natore each, and one each died in Habiganj, Naogaon and Niphamar.
