Mount Aso volcano erupted in Japan`s Kumamoto prefecture on Monday, Japan's Meteorological Agency (JMA) said.
According to JMA, the latest eruption at Mount Aso send plumes of smoke about 700 meters above the No. 1 crater of Mt. Nakadake.
The eruption was small, JMA added.
