Heavy flooding in Metro Manila, Philippines

-Several villages in Bombon, Camarines Sur reported to be flooded. Barangays San Roque, San Jose, San Isidro, Sto. Domingo, Pagao and San Antonio are the village to be worst affected.

-Several Cebu Pacific flights to and from Naga and Busuanga cancelled due to bad weather.
-About 64 mm rainfall observed at Port Area, Manila for the past four hours. Serious flooding is expected in Metro Manila early Tuesday due to heavy rains.
-The City government suspended all afternoon classes at the elementary and high school levels for today in Makati, Parañaque, Pasay, Manila, Quezon, Taguig, Valenzuela, Pasig, Batangas province and Rizal province.
-Several roads in Metro Manila are experiencing heavy traffic jams due to bad weather.
-A prevailing low pressure area (LPA) is expected to bring heavy rainfall over southern Luzon including capital Manila.
-Typhoon Ketsana (Ondoy) in 2009 killed 747 people.It was the most devastating typhoon to hit Manila.
